The latest reinforcement of the Brazilian Men’s Volleyball top division team Montes Claros is the Cuban middle blocker Isbel Mesa.
The 28-year-old former national team member of his country has chosen to leave Cuba at the end of 2014, pursuing engagement abroad. Mesa is familiar with the Brazilian Superliga as he has spent last two seasons in Funvic Taubaté.
Before hiring Mesa, Montes Claros added three more players to their roster for the next season: opposite Alexander Szot Marczenski ‘Alemão’ (Unicaja Almería, Spain), opposite Najari Fernandes (Botafogo, Division 2) and Argentinian receiver Lisandro Zanotti (Lomas Vóley, Argentina).
The club announced unveiling several more signings in the coming days.
