In the derby of the Brazilian Superliga, Sesc-RJ defeated leaders Dentil/Praia Clube in the tie-break (26-24, 25-18, 17-25, 16-25, 15-6) but they remain in the same positions in the standings.
Dentil/Praia played without injured Fe Garay (calf) and Walewska de Oliveira (knee) while Sesc played without Monique Pavão.
The best scorer for the match was Nicole Fawcett with 25 points for the home team while Gabriela Braga Guimaraes led Sesc with 18 points. Roberta da Silva Ratzke won VivaVolei Trophy.
