The defending champions Zenit Kazan have claimed the quarterfinal spot after defeating Roeselare at the home court 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20).

Maxim Mikhailov was the top scorer with 21 points, while Earvin Ngapeth contributed with 17 points.

Dinamo Moscow have also scored an important victory, beating Arkasspor in straight sets.

The top scorer in the team from Moscow was the Dutch-born player with the Italian citizenship Dick Kooy, who scored 14 points. In the home team, Adis Lagumdzija scored 15 points, while Robert Taht added 14 points.
