EUROVOLLEY 2019 M: Estonia steal one set from Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey and Slovakia victorious

Poland have opened the EuroVolley 2019 with a 3-1 win, playing the game without world star Wilfredo Leon.

He spent the whole time at the bench, while his teammates needed four sets to defeat Estonia 3-1 (25-22, 25-27, 25-22, 25-17).

Artur Szalpuk was the top scorer among the world champions with 23 points, while Dawid Konarski contributed with 17 points. Robert Taht was the top scorer on the other side with 13 points.

The Bulgarian team has scored the second win at the European Championship. After beating Greece, they defeated Romania also in straight sets 28-26, 25-20, 25-20.

Martin Atanasov led Bulgaria with 15 points, while Todor Skrimov had 14 and Tsvetan Sokolov 12. Razvan Mihalcea ended the game with 11 points on the other side.

After losing to Russia, Turkey have scored the first victory at the European Championship, outplaying North Macedonia in straight sets 25-20, 25-23, 25-13. 

In a super exciting game, Slovakia have managed to defeat Spain in the tie-break to earn the win at the EuroVolley 3-2 (25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 16-25, 18-16).

Peter Michalovic had a great display in a jersey of Slovakia, scoring 26 points, while Jesus Vilena had even better performance, finishing the game with 33 points on the other side.
