The defending champions Russia have scored the second win at the volleyball European Championship.

Russia - Belarus

Russia – Belarus

Russia had to reduce the lead of the rival since Belarus took the advantage in the match, clinching the first set 25-23. The Russian boys had to make the return into the game and they did it. In the next three sets, Russia played at a high level and won the game to score the second win at the tournament.

Viktor Poletaev and Dmitry Muserskiy scored 16 points each on the winning side.

Italy had the same problem as Russia, as they had to return into the game after losing the first set. Fortunately for the Italian fans, they have done it in a good way and scored the victory.

Osmany Juantorena had a good display, finishing the match with 21 points. On the other side Nikos Zoupani scored 15.

The Netherlands didn’t have any difficulties against  Montenegro, a team that made a debut at the EuroVolley. Belgium have also scored a 3-0 win over Austria in Pool B.
