Gianlorenzo Blengini’s side didn’t have any difficulties in a game against Turkey in the 1/8 finals of the European Championship.
Italy have defeated Turkey in straight sets 25-22, 25-18, 25-21.
Gabriele Nelli was the top scorer for italy with 14 points, while Simone Anzani added 12 and Osmany Juantorena 10. On the other side, Adis Lagumdzija scored 11 points for Turkey.
In the quarterfinals, Italy will again play against France. One of these two teams won’t be able to battle for the medals. These two sides met each other in the group stage and France won it. This game will be much more difficult for both teams…
