The seven-time CEV Women’s Champions League winner and a two-time MVP Francesca Piccinini, who has just retired from playing professionally, carried out a draw for a group stage (4th Round) of this season’s edition of the prestigious tournament. Well-proven format of five pools of four teams each remained. An 18 teams were seeded directly into these pools, while the remained two vacant spots will be filled with 3rd Round winners.
The Women’s tournament will begin on November 19.
