Pool D hosts Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul slipped out of their hands but Dinamo Moscow haven’t. Germany’s Stuttgart completely surprisingly beat the leaders of the Russian Superliga and big favorites in the Champions League by a 3-2 (29-27, 13-25, 22-25, 25-14, 15-11). American Krystal Rivers shone for the Bundesliga team, putting down 25 points. Bulgarian Mira Todorova set up 4 blocks.

Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul (American Chiaka Ogbogu 14 points, including 6 blocks) kept the perfect score in this pool as they swept Russia’s Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region.

Italy’s A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano and Turkey’s Fenerbahçe Opet İstanbul are both at 2-0 in Pool B in Treviso, with the former not dropping a single set so far.
