All qualifying rounds across 6 pools for the 2021 Women’s EuroVolley are finished last night, delivering 12 participants for the final stage: 6 first-placed teams (Belarus, Sweden, Greece, Slovakia, France, and the Czech Republic) and 6 runners-up (Switzerland, Ukraine, Spain, Finland, Hungary, and Bosnia Herzegovina). Interestingly, all of these teams secured their spots in the next EuroVolley before the last rounds in their respective pools.
They joined the 4 organizing countries (Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania), and 8 sides that qualified thanks to the placement of the 2019 edition (Turkey, Italy, Poland, The Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Belgium, and Azerbaijan) in the final stage. Sweden are probably the biggest winners of the Qualifier as they have progressed to the continental championship for the first time in 38 years.
The draw for EuroVolley 2021 will take place on May 20, in Belgrade, Serbia.
