At the end of all qualifying rounds, 12 national teams secured their places in the 2021 Men’s EuroVolley by which the list of participants is completed.
On the last day, Croatia and Belarus stamped the last 2 tickets to the main stage after beating the Netherlands (3-2) and Norway (3-0) respectively. Out of these 12 names, some have qualified earlier (the competition in 3 pools ended in September 2020 and January 2021) and some have progressed just yesterday. So, to sum up, the teams that earned their places in the continental championship throughout the qualifications are 7 first-placed sides (Netherlands, Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Slovakia, Montenegro, and Portugal) and 5 best runners-up (Spain, North Macedonia, Greece, Croatia, and Belarus).
The remained 12 participants are the 4 co-hosts (Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, and Finland) and 8 that qualified thanks to their placement in the 2019 edition (Serbia, Slovenia, France, Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Germany, and Belgium) The draw for EuroVolley 2021 is scheduled for Thursday, May 27, in Helsinki, Finland.
