Dinamo Ak-Bars Kazan took three points from their second match in the group stage of the 2022 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League.
The long-awaited return of the Women’s Champions League to Kazan, Russia, ended with a win of Dinamo Ak-Bars over France’s Béziers Volley with a score of 3-1 in Pool D of the 2022 edition of the event. There were no matches of the elite continental club competition in Kazan for almost three years. Croatian Samanta Fabris top-scored Dinamo with 22 points. Angelina Lazarenko and Taisia Konovalova set up four blocks apiece.
Poland’s Developres Rzeszów, despite a setback in the third set, were victorious in Ukraine against SC Prometey Dnipro 3-1 in the second round of Pool A, increasing their chance to be promoted to the next phase.
Italy’s Igor Gorgonzola Novara trampled over Czech’s VK Dukla Liberec in Pool C, dropping 46 points only and taking the second win in the CL.
