We learned the names of three participants of the quarter-finals of the 2022 Women’s Volleyball CEV Cup.
Romania’s CSM Volei Alba Blaj qualified without disturbances to the quarter-finals of the CEV Volleyball Cup 2022 | Women after beating the Greek team AC PAOK Thessaloniki with the score of 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-19) in the rematch of the Round of 16 at home. The Romanian vice-champions prevailed in one hour and 16 minutes, following the win in the first leg with a score of 3-1. Serbian Nadja Ninković was the best performer of Alba with 13 points.
Germany’s SSC Palmberg Schwerin are also in the quarter-finals for the CEV Cup. The Bundesliga team beat Portugal’s AJM FC Porto in the second leg in four sets. Felix Koslowski’s team won the first leg a week ago 3-0.
Croatia’s Mladost Zagreb earned two forfeit wins over Swiss TS Volley Düdingen and advanced among the Top 8 teams in the competition.
