C.S.M. Targoviste became the final semifinalist of the CEV Cup by eliminating Olympiacos Piraeus. In the semifinals of the CEV Cup, C.S.M. Targoviste will face off against CS Volei Alba Blaj.
The quarterfinal match between Targoviste and Piraeus was a closely contested battle that lasted four sets. Both teams fought fiercely for the coveted spot in the last four. Although Piraeus’ Wilma Salas Rosell emerged as the top scorer with 18 points, Targoviste’s Ana Bjelica’s heroic performance of 17 points, and Jovana Mirosavljevic’s 16 points secured the victory for the Romanian team.
