As the pool stage of the European Volleyball Championship for men draws to a close, the matchups for the Round of 16 have been solidified.
In the Pool C showdowns, Poland showcased their dominance against Montenegro, sealing the match in three straight sets (25-14, 25-11, 25-12). Not to be left behind, Czechia clinched a win over North Macedonia, the home team, with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-15. This victory cemented Czechia’s position at third in Pool D, while North Macedonia settled at fourth.
Over in Pool A, Belgium reigned supreme over Switzerland, concluding the game with a 3-0 set scoreline (25-20, 25-19, 25-22). Meanwhile, a spirited face-off between Germany and Italy is currently in progress. However, regardless of its outcome, it will not influence the final standings in the group.
