Serbian club TENT Obrenovac achieved a landmark win in the Women’s CEV Champions League by defeating French champions Levallois Paris 3-1 (26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18). This victory marks TENT’s first-ever win in the elite European competition.
After a heavy opening loss to Eczacıbaşı in Istanbul, TENT capitalized on their home advantage. Opposite hitter Malina Terrell led the charge with 21 points, supported by Mina Mijatović with 20 points. Nataša Čikuć, named MVP of the match, added 14 points, while Nevena Sajić contributed 13.
Despite Levallois Paris snatching the third set to prolong the contest, TENT sealed the victory convincingly in the fourth set. The defeat adds to Levallois Paris’s struggles after their initial home loss to Germany’s Schwerin.
