In the third round of the CEV Champions League Pool E, Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci overpowered Poland’s BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała in straight sets (25-22, 25-22, 25-23).
Ekaterina Antropova led Scandicci with 28 points, earning her MVP honors. The Italian team registered 12 kill blocks, a decisive factor in the match, while maintaining an impressive 77% attack efficiency from Antropova. For BKS, Julita Piasecka stood out with 15 points, supported by Martyna Borowczak’s 13.
In the second match of Pool E held in Romania between CSO Voluntari 2005 and Allianz Stuttgart, the German team secured a 3-1 victory.
