Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia showed their dominance once again in the CEV Champions League, defeating French champions Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique in straight sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-23). The Italian powerhouse remains unbeaten and hasn’t dropped a single set in Pool D, cementing their position at the top.

Perugia’s top performers included Ben Tara with 13 points, Loser with 12, and Ishikawa adding 10. On the Saint-Nazaire side, Henri Léon shone with 15 points, supported by Jordan Ewert’s 13. Despite their efforts, the French team now sits third in the group standings with two wins and two losses.

Saint-Nazaire’s next match on January 15 against Halkbank Ankara will be crucial in their fight for second place and a chance to advance to the quarterfinal playoffs.
