Novara edges closer to CEV Cup glory with powerful home win over Alba Blaj
Igor Gorgonzola Novara took a significant step toward the CEV Cup title with a commanding 3-1 victory over CS Volei Alba Blaj in the first leg of the final. The Italian side dazzled at home with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 20-25, and 25-17.
Novara started strong, overwhelming the Romanian visitors in the opening set. Despite a slip in the third, coach Lorenzo Bernardi’s squad bounced back with confidence in the fourth to seal the match.
