The CEV EuroVolley 2026 qualifiers ended with high drama — and an unexpected twist courtesy of Switzerland.

In their final match, the Swiss pushed Finland to a tense five-set battle, ultimately falling 2–3. But the second set Switzerland claimed proved decisive: it knocked Finland out and sent Austria through to the EuroVolley final stage.
For Switzerland, the campaign had highs and lows. They lifted the Silver League trophy, secured promotion to the Golden League, and edged closer to a World Championship 2027 spot. Yet, missing EuroVolley 2026 remains a tough blow.
