The countdown to CEV EuroVolley 2026 is officially on, with the much-awaited Drawing of Lots set to take place this Saturday, October 4, at the historic Norman-Swabian Castle in Bari. Fans can follow the action live on the CEV YouTube channel, as Europe’s volleyball giants discover their pool-stage opponents.
The women’s tournament is scheduled from August 21 to September 6, 2026, across Istanbul, Brno, Gothenburg, and Baku. Türkiye’s “Sultans of the Net”, led by Melissa Vargas, will aim to defend their continental crown after also securing a World Championship silver medal in 2024.
The men’s edition kicks off on September 10, 2026, with a spectacular open-air match at Naples’ Piazza del Plebiscito before moving through host cities in Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania. Defending champions Poland will face stiff competition as the event culminates with the semifinals and finals in Milan’s Arena Santa Giulia on September 25–26.
CEV President Roko Sikirić called the event “the ultimate Volleyball party,” urging fans to secure tickets when they go on sale November 7.
“The CEV EuroVolley 2026 will be the ultimate Volleyball party. I invite all fans from across Europe and even further beyond to save the date and make sure they secure their tickets as early as possible. Taking into consideration the unprecedented achievements of European teams at the last World Championships, you will be witnessing Volleyball of the finest level and live an experience that will be spine-tingling, to say the least! Make sure you join us for an event that will go down in the history books!” – Roko Sikirić, CEV President
