In a lively atmosphere at a packed Tivoli Hall, ACH Volley Ljubljana finally celebrated their first victory in Pool A of the CEV Champions League, defeating Tours VB in straight sets.

After two early setbacks in the group, the Slovenian champions played with urgency and confidence, earning not only three valuable points but also their first-ever win against Tours VB after six previous defeats. The opening set was tight and emotional, with both teams trading the lead. ACH stayed calm in the closing stages and edged it 26–24, a moment that lifted both the team and the crowd.
That set proved decisive. ACH took control in the second, serving aggressively and defending with purpose to pull away and close it 25–19. Tours tried to respond in the third set and briefly moved ahead, but the hosts quickly regained control and calmly finished the match 25–22.
Tonček Štern led the way with an outstanding performance, scoring 24 points and earning MVP honors. Luka Marovt chipped in with 11, while Nik Mujanović was Tours’ top scorer with 16.
The win puts ACH Volley Ljubljana on the board in Pool A and keeps their Champions League hopes alive, while Tours VB remain without a victory after three matches.
