The visitors were in charge from the start, winning in straight sets (25–18, 25–19, 25–22) in front of a home crowd of just over 2,000. Ferre Reggers led the way with an impressive 23 points to earn MVP honors, while Tatsunori Otsuka added 14.

Aalst tried to respond, with Henry Rempel scoring 17 points, but struggled to match Milano’s consistency throughout the match.

With this result, Milano head into the second leg in Italy with a strong advantage, while Aalst will need a big turnaround to keep their title hopes alive.
