ECH 2017 M: Bulgaria “destroyed” Spain, the first win for Poland

The last two matches of the third day at the LOTTO EuroVolley 2017 have been finished; Bulgaria and Poland scored their first wins.

In front of 9500 spectators Poland outplayed Finland 25-23, 25-21 and 25-19 and this time Bartosz Kurek led his team with 15 points followed by Michal Kubiak 12 points.

They made a great spectacle to their fans and somehow made a revenge for the defeat against Serbia.

In Pool C Bulgaria were stronger than Spain. They scored a 3-0 wins 25-15, 28-26, 25-21 over Spain, Tsvetan Sokolov (18) and Nikolay Nikolov (16) were the top scorers in the Bulgarian team while Sergio Noda Blanco scored 11 points for Spain.

Pool A:

Estonia – Serbia 2-3 (23-25, 25-16, 25-21, 20-25, 12-15)

Poland – Finland 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-19)

Pool C:

Russia – Slovenia 3-0 (27-25, 30-28, 25-22)

Bulgaria – Spain 3-0 (25-15, 28-26, 25-21)
