This seasons Chemik will be playing all of their home matches in Koszalin – and not anymore in Szczecin as they used to. The local sports hall in Koszalin can host some 3,000 fans.
This year Chemik is going to face Dinamo KAZAN, Maritza PLOVDIV and Vizura RUMA in the group stage of the competition.
“We did not have an easy draw for the last few seasons but this year we cannot complain. Everything is in our hands. However, we should not forget that Maritza have eliminated Yenisei KRASNOYARSK in the previous round. We have spoken with our Serbian players about the team from Ruma. They warned us and told us we should not underestimate this opponent. They have many young Serbian players, with much potential and determination to win. We need to be careful, but also confident about our abilities,” said head coach Jakub Gluszak.
Chemik will start their journey in the second week of December with an away matchup against Vizura RUMA.
