The teams from Pool A will play their matches in Ankara in Turkey, Pool B will be in Poland (the places will be determined later), Pool C in Budapest, Hungary, and Pool D in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The 24 national teams will participate at EuroVolley2019 and besides Turkey, Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, the organizers of ECH, the tickets also secured Serbia, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia, Belarus, Germany, and Bulgaria.
CEV announced that four teams from each pool will qualify for the eighth-finals. Teams from A and C will face (A 1 – C 4, A 2 – C 3, C 1 – A 4, C 2 – A 3) and B and D (B 1 – D 4, B 2 – D 3, D 1 – B 4, D 2 – B 3).
All the organizers of EuroVolley (Turkey, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) if they are placed in the eighth-finals they will play at home, regardless of the position they have taken.
In the event that two organizers meet in the eighth-finals, for example, A1 – C4, there will be a change in the pair of eighth-finals and a place change, so C 4 (organizer) will meet in the eighth-finals with A2 and A1 (organizer) – C3.
Quarter-finals will be played in Turkey and Poland. The winners from Hungary will go to Turkey and from Slovakia to Poland.
Semifinal matches, as well as the third place and final match, will be played in Ankara, Turkey.
