WCH 2018 M: Canada barely down Egypt

by WoV

Egypt have given a huge resistance in a game against Canada at the men's volleyball World Championship.

The team of Stephane Antiga had a really difficult job against Egypt.

Canada had to play two extended sets, giving the opportunity to the rival to stay in the race for the win. However, with some good moves of Nicholas Hoag and John Perrin, they managed to win both sets and later to win the game.

The top scorers were Hoag with 24 points, while John Perrin added 18. Ahmed Shafik was the best player in Egypt with 17.
