The current champions of Europe needed only three sets to defeat the Dominican Republic in their first match at the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Japan.

Serbia outplayed Las Reinas Del Caribe thanks to the fantastic play of Brankica Mihajlović and Tijana Bošković who led the team with 22 and 15 points.

Brayelin Elizabeth Martinez was the best in the opponent’s side with 10 points while Bethania De La Cruz scored 7 points.
