“I am very happy about this victory because we’ve deserved it. They are really nice guys, the whole team is working hard and we really need this kind of wins. The serve, block-defense system and the quality of reception were crucial for this victory. Now we have to concentrate on the next game, we will fight for each ball and try to win it,” says Gheorghe Cretu, the head coach of Resovia.
“They played quite a good match. They made too many mistakes at the beginning but it got better with time. In total, they played well. We did too, but our mistakes occurred in key moments and it changed the match in their favor,” says Fernando Kreling, Sada Cruzeiro setter.
Recall that Resovia beat Sada Cruzeiro in a tie-break thriller.
