Argentina were unable to finish the first week of the 2019 Nations League with a perfect score as they succumbed to Canada in four sets in front of 6,000 home fans in Mendoza, partially 25-21, 29-27, 16-25, and 26-24. Thus, both sides will go to the second week of the tournament with a 2-1 record. Canada will host Pool 8 in Ottawa, competing against Australia, Germany, and Serbia, while the national team of Argentina will continue the competition in Japan.
