The Turkey National Team kept the perfect score in the 2021 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League.
Turkey is one of only a few national teams that came to the Rimini bubble in Italy with the strongest roster. And it is visible from the start of the VNL.
The side commanded by Giovanni Guidetti noted down the third win in as many games. On Day 3, Turkey beat Poland, who looked for a chance to rehabilitate themselves for a defeat against the “B“ team of Serbia, yesterday, but failed to do so. Led by Eda Erdem Dündar (20 points), Turkey prevailed in four sets. Magdalena Stysiak’s notable performance (26 points) wasn’t enough for Poland.
China stormed past Thailand, while the Dominican Republic recorded their first win in the tournament to which they were led by Prisilla Rivera (21 points) and Gaila González (4 aces).
