#EuroVolleyM: Drawing of Lots puts Serbia and Poland together, Pool B most competitive

by WoV

Drawing of Lots for the next CEV Men’s Volleyball European Championship was held in Finland.

Drawing of Lots involving 24 teams that secured their places in the 2021 CEV Men’s EuroVolley (September 1-19) was held in Finland. Matches will be played across four countries (six cities) – Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, and Finland – concluded with the final weekend in Katowice.

Pool A will feature some big encounters, such as between Serbia and Poland, while Italy, Slovenia, and Bulgaria will meet each other in Pool B. These two pools seem to us as the most competitive at first glance.

Pool A (Kraków, Poland):

Poland, Belgium, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece, Portugal

Pool B (Ostrava, the Czech Republic):

Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Montenegro

Pool C (Tampere, Finland):

Finland, Russia, Netherlands, Turkey, Spain, North Macedonia

Pool D (Tallinn, Estonia):

Estonia, Latvia, France, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia

Recall how the draw for women’s EuroVolley 2021 went.
