The match took place at Pool 5, in the heart of the Anaheim Convention Center. The victory further solidifies the USA’s standing, which is currently in second place with an impressive 8-1 record in the VNL standings.
Key players of the match, Matt Anderson and Aaron Russell, led the US team with 13 and 12 points respectively. Their strategic play and hard-hitting volleys helped secure the win for the American team.
Despite the loss, Cuba showed some significant efforts. The team’s top scorer was Miguel Angel Lopez with 12 points, closely followed by Jesus Jaime Herrera, who contributed 11 points.
