The Women’s World Volleyball Championships 2025, set to take place in Thailand from August 22 to September 7, will feature a historic 32 teams, the largest field ever for the event. This tournament will introduce an exciting new format, including a group stage, knockout rounds, and a final phase.
The participating teams include:

- Automatic Qualifiers: Serbia (defending champions)
- From the Continental Championships:
- Africa: Kenya, Egypt, Cameroon
- Asia: China, Japan, Vietnam
- Europe: Turkey, Netherlands, Italy
- NORCECA: Dominican Republic, USA, Canada
- South America: Brazil, Argentina, Colombia
Additionally, 15 teams secured their spots through the FIVB World Rankings:
- Europe: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, France, Sweden
- NORCECA: Puerto Rico, Mexico
- South America: Cuba
