Manila to Host World-Class Event at Two Iconic Venues
The stage is set for an action-packed 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, following the official draw held in Manila on Saturday. Thirty-two elite teams have been grouped into eight competitive pools for the tournament, which will take place in the Philippines from September 12 to 28, 2025.
The draw, conducted at a spectacular ceremony at the Solaire Hotel, revealed the following pool matchups:
- Pool A: Philippines, Iran, Egypt, Tunisia
- Pool B: Poland, Netherlands, Qatar, Romania
- Pool C: France, Argentina, Finland, Korea
- Pool D: USA, Cuba, Portugal, Colombia
- Pool E: Slovenia, Germany, Bulgaria, Chile
- Pool F: Italy, Ukraine, Belgium, Algeria
- Pool G: Japan, Canada, Türkiye, Libya
- Pool H: Brazil, Serbia, Czechia, China
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the knockout stage, creating an intense race to claim volleyball’s most prestigious title.
Two venues have been confirmed for the event: the iconic Smart Arena Coliseum and the state-of-the-art SM Mo Arena, both located in the heart of Manila. These world-class arenas are expected to deliver an unforgettable atmosphere as they host some of the best volleyball teams from around the globe.
