The French Volleyball Federation announced that Émile Rousseaux will step down as head coach of the women’s national team after a successful six-year tenure. Under his leadership, the team achieved historic milestones, including a Golden League title in 2022 and a Challenger Cup victory in 2023. Rousseaux, who began his role in 2018, helped elevate the team from 56th to 19th in the global rankings. He expressed gratitude for the journey and is ready to focus on new personal goals.
Meanwhile, Andrea Giani, head coach of the French men’s volleyball team, has been reconfirmed for the next Olympic cycle.
