CHIBA, Japan / ARLINGTON, USA — Poland wrapped up their Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Preliminary Phase in dominant fashion, crushing Bulgaria 3-0 on Sunday to build momentum heading into the Finals, which they’ll host in Lodz.

After a tough loss to Japan, the Polish squad bounced back with a ruthless sweep (25-13, 25-19, 25-17), showcasing the depth and strength that has made them one of the tournament’s top contenders. They now sit on a 9-3 record, locking in at least a fourth-place finish, with a slim chance to climb higher based on final match outcomes.

Magdalena Stysiak led Poland with 17-point display, supported by Paulina Damaske (11 points) and young star Martyna Czyrnianska, who added 10. “It didn’t matter who played today—we gave 100%. With the Finals at home, we want to inspire and keep growing Polish volleyball,” Stysiak said post-match. Bulgaria, unable to match Poland’s firepower, dropped to 4-8 and will end the tournament in 13th place.
