Dentil Praia Clube moved to the brink of the Women’s Club World Championship semifinals after sweeping the Orlando Valkyries 3–0 in Pool B play.

Praia, led by captain Adenizia da Silva, closed out tight first and third sets to seal the 25–23, 25–15, 28–26 victory. The Brazilian side outperformed the Valkyries in kills, blocks and aces, with Adenizia and Michelle Pavão each scoring 14 points. Brittany Abercrombie led the Valkyries with 15.

In Pool A, Alianza Lima made history with the first-ever Peruvian win in the tournament, rallying past Zhetysu VC of Kazakhstan 3–1. Elina Rodríguez paced Alianza with 22 points.
