Swiss multiple champions and also record holders in number of consecutive wins at home finished the season with a bronze medal by beating last year’s title holders Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul from Turkey 3-2 (25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 23-25, 15-12), in a thrilling match at „Kobe Green Arena“.

Olesia Rykhliuk, Ukrainian opposite from Volero, once again confirmed being in a great shape in the tournament, scoring 25 points. Serbian youngster Tijana Bošković made 24 on the other side.

This was the second-ever medal of Volero in the Club World Championship, and again bronze.
