Benfica
It was a long final series, in which Benfica had a home advantage and as it turned out at the end, it was the key factor for Benfica to win the trophy. Since there were no breaks in the finals, Benfica have entered the fifth match as a big favorite.
When we take a look at the result of the last and decisive game, we can see that Sporting didn’t have too much space for making a surprise 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-19).
This is the seventh championship title for Benfica. Recall that Bastardo were the champions in the season 2015/2016.
