France coach Laurent Tillie:” My team played very well today. Almost without mistakes, very intelligent. This team is a perfect mix of young players and experienced players. Yesterday I was not happy at all, but today I have to compliment my team. Especially Stephen Boyer was outstanding.”
French player Stephen Boyer said: “I felt great today, and it was nice to play with the national selection. All the time we had control over Canada. I am happy to be part of this team. I was a Junior player when France ended third in the European Junior Championships. I play in Chaumont (Pro A France). I want to build my career step by step. But my volleyball dreams are big for the future.”
