WL 2017: Russia celebrated tiebreak win over USA

In the new match of the FIVB World League, Russia outplayed USA after five long sets 31-29, 17-25, 25-17, 27-29, 15-12 in Lodz, Poland.

Russia scored their fourth win, the second in row while USA suffered the third defeat. 

Russian opposite Egor  Kliuka scored 22 points in their win while this time Taylor Lee Sander was teh top scorer in USA with 28 points. 

Americans made too many mistakes (39) while the Russians dominated in the blocks (17 to the US’ 14).

Dimitry Kovalev, Russia captain: “It was a really intresting match and we are happy that we won. To be honest it was either win or lose, but we proved the strenght of our character, our team spirit, and won.”
