Brazil swept Serbian National Team in the first match of Week 2 of the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix – Group 1, 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-22). The encounter took place in Sendai, Japan, in Pool D1 and with this win, the ladies coached by ’Zé Roberto’, took revenge on Serbia for a straight set defeat they suffered in Week 1.

Natália Pereira of Brazil was the best scorer of the game with 16 points but Adenízia da Silva highlighted the winning side with 7 kill blocks (exactly the half of all Brazil’s points from the blocking)! On the other side, Ana Bjelica made 15 points.

Now, both teams have 3-1, but Serbia still hold the top of Group 1 rankings with 9 points.
