FRA M: Is Tours able to retain the trophy?

by WoV

The new season of the French volleyball league is starting today!

Tours

Tours

We are wondering is Tours able to retain the trophy they won in the last season? They are definitely the favorites number 1. However, the other teams also have the chance to compete for it. It is important to mention that Paris won’t compete in the elite league, as they got expelled immediately after the last season.

The vice-champions Chaumont will also try to take a revenge on Tours for a defeat they suffered in the playoff finals. They will have the first game in this season against Poitiers away.

There are 13 teams in the league and one of them will be free in each round. In the first round, Nantes is free.

Schedule, first round:

Today:

Montpellier – Narbonne 20:00 CET

Rennes – Nice 20:00 CET

Toulouse – Tourcoing 20:00 CET

Tours – Cannes 20:00 CET

Saturday:

Poitiers – Chaumont 19:30 CET

Sete – Ajaccio 19:30 CET
