Mulhouse was a favorite in this game, but it was ultimately the visitors who came away with a win without dropping a single set. The most important players for Nantes‘ victory were Brittnee Cooper (7 blocks) and Kristy Jaeckel (20 points).
“Hopefully this victory will make the girls realize that they can be higher in the standings than 8 place” Nantes coach Sylvain Quinquis said.
In the quarterfinals, Nantes will play against Saint-Raphael.
