After a great start, Tours found themselves at a 2:0 lead. Then Rennes consolidated and, thanks to tactical changes made by Boris Grebennikov, they won the third set (25-23). It was a short blast, since Tours won the last set.
“They were better in the service, and had more focus in this game”, said Olivier Ragondet. “In the fourth set, we failed to save the game”, he closed.
With this second defeat in a row Rennes tumbles ninth but is still in the race for the top 8.
