Gennady Chipouline, head coach of Belogorie was pleased with his team performance in the French capital: “This was a good match, we played against a good team, we are pleased with the result and we are pleased how our team played today. All the team did what was necessary and what I asked them to do.”
Nikola Gjorgiev, opposite of Paris Volley: “I think in the first set we did not play our best volleyball. We were too excited to play against Belogorie, the best team in the world. They serve pretty well and they block pretty well. In the third set we showed our character and we could have won the set. I want to congratulate Belogorie. They were amazing. I never played against such a strong team.”
