Jole-Ruzzini
Next newcomer to the club that wants to return the national title after two years arrived from Italy. A 33-year-old libero Jole Ruzzini strengthened Cannes from Serie A1 members Metalleghe Montichiari.
When she moved to Romanian CSM București, two seasons ago, she was considered the first Sardinian-born (Sardinia – the island that belongs to Italy, located in the Mediterranean Sea) to have played abroad. With this club, Ruzzini grabbed the trophy in the 2015 CEV Challenge Cup.
At the same time, Cannes announced parting ways with two players – Ukrainian receiver Olga Savenchuk and libero Déborah Ortschitt.
