Their situation was complicated by the late arrival of its foreign players due to administrative problems.
However, the team is still ambitious as confirmed by Gilbert Louis: “It’s a question if we will reach our goal of being in the top eight and qualifying for the play-offs because of the problems at the start of the season. I do not want to put pressure on the group, but we must keep moving forward.“
Istres will play against Mulhouse on Saturday in the ninth round of the Ligue AF.
