Five games of the 21st round of the Bundesliga were played on Friday and Saturday. The competition in the league part of the Bundesliga is entering the final phase, and the fight for the starting positions in the playoffs is intensifying. Stuttgart already secured first place and the starting position in the playoffs, while the fight for 2nd to 4th place and for 8th position, which ensures placement in the playoffs, is still open. A big step towards entering the playoffs was made by the Vilsbiburg team, which beat Straubing on Friday evening 3-0 (Visbiburg is currently in 9th place but with two games played less than the 7th Wiesbaden and 8th placed USC Münster).
In the matches played on Saturday night Erfurt defeated Munster 3-2, Schwerin and Potsdam achieved victories against Aachen (3-0) and Wiesbaden (3-1), while Stuttgart after a fight in 5 sets celebrated in Suhl.
