The Stuttgart head coach Tore Aleksandersen will have the core of the last season’s team that brought back the Bundesliga title to the club after 3 years at his disposal next season, However, 7 players (many of which were backups in 2021/22) will leave the German champions. This reflects the continuity in the regular 6-7 changes, which Stuttgart make at the end of each season.

The Bundesliga titleholders, German Cup winners, and CEV Cup runners-up – secured the stay of 5 players following the contract extension of Americans Krystal Rivers and Simone Lee. The former was Stuttgart’s top scorer last season, while the latter collected the most MVP awards in the league (shares first place with Dresdner SC’s Maja Storck at 8 MVP awards). Several players have ongoing contracts with the club: Roosa Koskelo, Eline Timmerman, and María Segura. On the other hand, Julia Nowicka, Juliët Lohuis, Hester Jasper, Ilka van de Vyver, Mira Todorova, Lara Berger and T’ara Ceasar will leave Stuttgart.
